NOVO CONNECT is led by Dr. Sangeeta Aditya With more than 17+ years of experience in scientific research, corporate and management industrial manufacturing in biotech and MedTech products, teaching/instruction, and clinical laboratory environments, she feels confident in her ability to craft strategic initiatives for a greater impact in the health industry. Her significant exposure to various aspects of collaborative work in Health Science, MedTech, Lab Management and DNA research administration, along with related execution of high-end deep-tech products have equipped her with critical, technical and commercial abilities enabling her to thrive in the fast-paced R&D and production environment. At the University of Oxford, she worked on interdisciplinary research projects. She worked as a senior scientist and domain lead of Biology for software tool development in a gene synthesis project at Evonetix Ltd, UK.
She is passionate about promoting and supporting women-led healthcare and life science start-ups looking to launch and expand in the global market through mentorship, guidance and fundraising for inclusive growth. At GWASE, she initiated a partnership with the Australian Consulate-General; Chennai, India called AusBridge that promotes and support the empowerment of women and attracts them to STEM for minimising the gender parity.

Stephen Manallack is an advocate of closer relations between Australia and India, writing a blog
called INTO INDIA and is a regular speaker and trade mission leader to India. He has been visiting
India for 20 years, and has led three trade missions to India.
He survived a business collapse in the early 1990’s, rebuilt his business, wrote three books, trained
others in mindfulness and meditation and produced a program of “Meditations for Recovery” for the
township of Marysville, destroyed in the 2009 bushfires.
Stephen is a guest lecturer at several Indian universities and is currently co-presenting a video series with
Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini, Director - Students Counselling, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Odisha, on “The Mind of Youth”, helping young students cope with stress, challenges and the future.He is a regular Op-Ed commentary writer for Indian media giant News18.
